GENERAL FIRE PRODUCTS FAQS
In certain environments, covers can protect fire extinguishers from dirt, dust, grease, and other contaminants that could damage the extinguishers.
You will need to get written permission from your insurance company and your local AHJ to remove them. We can then remove the fire hose from your building and cap it.
If you have fire hoses installed in your building, they need to be code compliant which means they need to be inspected annually.
They are only required in certain situations depending on the local AHJ and facility. They are, however, beneficial in protecting fire extinguishers from dirt, debris, and theft.
