KOORSEN VOCATIONAL PROGRAM
Koorsen’s Life Safety Vocational Program empowers local high school seniors with the opportunity to become certified in life safety and eligible for reliable and lucrative jobs/internships upon graduation.
The program was created in an effort to drive more interest in the life safety industry and to offer high school seniors with the skills and training needed to become highly sought after job candidates upon graduation.
Students enrolled in this program will take classes at Koorsen’s nationally acclaimed training center and gain hands-on learning from Koorsen’s team of NICET certified instructors.
The Vocational Program was started in 2015 in partnership with Warren Central High School’s Walker Career Center in Indianapolis. The program quickly took off and expanded to include other schools in the local area.
The Koorsen Life Safety Vocational Program is divided into four courses. Each course lasts nine weeks and focuses on a different segment of life safety.
