Job Summary

The Training Coordinator provides administrative support in alignment with the operational goals of the Koorsen Training Center and Koorsen University. The Training Coordinator with management, instructors, and training professionals to ensure exceptional learning experiences for associates attending virtual and in-person training sessions. 


  • Answer phones / multi-line phone system, provide customers with support, and route phone calls to branch personnel as appropriate.
  • Greet visitors and maintain signin sheets or visitor log for each person.
  • Maintain Koorsen University:
    • Schedule associates for classes as needed.
    • Maintain classes in Koorsen University (i.e. dropping or adding associates when necessary).
    • Print sign in sheets.
    • Ensure instructors close out classes after class is finished.
    • Print transcripts as necessary for employee or supervisor.
    • Receive vendor training certificates and import into employees’ file in Koorsen University.
  • Maintain Training Center for classes:
    • This includes the cleanliness of the classrooms and preparation of any material for classes.
    • All refreshments need to be restocked in the classrooms in preparation of visitors/students.
    • Assist with locking up and opening the building when necessary.
    • Make coffee and popcorn for all classes.
    • Clean classrooms, kitchen, and take out the trash when necessary after class.
    • Set up the classrooms as necessary.
    • Coordinate lunches for training classes each week.
  • Order office supplies and refreshments for the building and the classrooms.
  • Copy and assemble training manuals for classes.
  • Reconcile invoices for the building and training classes.
  • Create PO’s when necessary for outside vendor training or when trainers need one for parts.
  • Track Training Center calendar and coordinate classrooms for meetings.
  • Assist Training Center staff with projects.
  • Receive and route external inquiries from the Koorsen Hub for the Training Center.
  • Gather data to demonstrate the impact of learning and performance interventions.
  • Work on multiple projects concurrently, monitoring and actively communicating, progress, and time related to project development.
  • Fosters unity and consistency of training materials by following and/or implementing templates, language, and procedures that are accepted as Koorsen University standards.
  • Organize and protect training materials by appropriately naming files, creating file backups, and storing files in the appropriate corporate drive folders.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Follow Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values.
  • Ensure timely and professional communication with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
  • Represent Koorsen in a professional manner.

  • High School Education or equivalent with 2 or more years in administrative role or education education experience 
  • Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to pass a background check


  • Bachelor’s degree Education, English Communications, Business, or related field with 5 or more years learning center experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phone, photocopiers, and document scanners.
