Sprinkler Installation Field Supervisor – Nashville, TN

The purpose of this role is to lead and perform oversight and supervision of technicians in the Inspections Department.

Primary Functions:  

  • Supervise and track daily activities of technicians (check-in/Check-out procedures)
  • Demonstrate effective customer service skills with internal and external Koorsen customers
  • Follow and enforce all Koorsen Fire & Security policies and procedures
  • Monitor and track activity of GPS devices on technician vehicles
  • Ensure technicians are up-to-date on all required training and licensing
  • Coordinate all required safety training if applicable
  • Distribute and maintain the successful completion of all monthly and demand work orders through the Service Manager Dispatch Board
  • Review and process completed department paperwork for accuracy
  • Coordinate staffing needs to cover assignments when needed
  • Ensure the cleanliness and operability of each service vehicle ensuring they are maintained to standards (i.e. Vehicle Inspection Reports, Haz-mat Doc.)
  • Ensure all issued equipment is maintained, calibrated and in good working order as required by the manufacturers
  • Conduct weekly quality control inspections of completed service work
  • Serve as a motivator and coach for each technician under your direct supervision
  • Assist with department meetings
  • Ensure that technicians participate in ALL required training offered by this company or its vendors (copies of certificates to be sent to the training center)
  • Attend quarterly service manager meetings and prepare for those meetings as needed (including reading or listening to materials that will be presented at those meetings)
  • Maintain the on-call list if applicable
  • Maintain customer relationships
  • Assist management and sales staff when needed
  • Assist management with reviews and disciplinary/coaching sessions, as needed
  • Assist with Inspection and Service work as needed
